Biden Caught in Another Lie About Debate Flop

(PatriotsUnited.org) – In an ongoing saga, the White House has revised its explanation regarding President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance last week.

Initially attributing the president’s halting and unclear responses to a lingering cold contracted during recent travels, officials now assert that Biden did see his doctor in the days following the debate, despite prior denials. The confusion began when a White House spokesman stated that Biden, 81, was examined by his physician after the debate to check on his cold, contradicting previous claims made by the Press Secretary. Just hours before this statement, the Press Secretary had told reporters that Biden had not undergone any medical exams since his physical in February.

“Several days later, the president was seen to check on his cold and was recovering well,” the spokesman said, attempting to clarify the timeline. This latest adjustment has left many questioning the clarity and consistency of the information coming from the White House. The Press Secretary faced tough questions in the briefing room, where she was asked directly if Biden had been examined by a doctor post-debate, to which she initially slammed down. When pressed on the issue, she remarked, “February was this year,” implying that there had been no need for additional medical exams since then.

The White House then hurriedly sought to explain that Biden’s recent visit to his doctor was merely a “brief check” and not a full examination. Speaking after the disastrous debate, Biden told more than 20 Democratic governors at private talks in the White House that he was in good health. During his verbal sparring with ex-President Donald Trump, Biden’s mumbling and distracted demeanor sparked widespread concern, prompting various explanations from the administration. Initially, the “cold” was blamed, but Biden’s subsequent energetic appearances, including a post-debate party and a North Carolina speech, muddled that narrative.

A week later, Biden added another layer to the story, attributing his debate struggles to “jet lag” from his extensive travel schedule. The president had been to Europe twice in June, first for the 80th anniversary of D-Day in France, then for the G7 summit in Italy, returning to the U.S. just 12 days before the debate. These trips and a week-long stay at Camp David were suggested as contributing factors to his less-than-stellar performance.

The Press Secretary attempted to tie the cold and jet lag explanations together, stating, “That was my bad,” when questioned about the delay in mentioning the jet lag. Yet, in a Milwaukee radio interview aired Thursday morning, Biden offered a simpler reason: “I had a bad night,” which he said was a “mistake” he had “learned from.”
