Story Snapshot

  • Nikita Casap, 18, from Waukesha, Wisconsin, shot his mother Tatiana Casap and stepfather Donald Mayer on February 11, 2025, stealing $14,000 to fund his Trump assassination scheme.
  • Casap lived with their decomposing bodies for two weeks before fleeing in their SUV, only to get arrested in Kansas on February 28, 2025.
  • Affiliated with the violent Order of Nine Angles neo-Nazi group, he penned a manifesto praising Hitler and plotting government overthrow via Trump’s death.
  • Pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree homicide in January 2026; sentenced to life without parole on March 6, 2026, as the judge ruled him irredeemable.

The Chilling Murders in Waukesha

Nikita Casap shot his mother Tatiana Casap, 35, and stepfather Donald Mayer, 51, at their home in Waukesha village, Wisconsin, around February 11, 2025. He targeted them to seize $14,000 in cash, jewelry, passports, a gun, and the family dog for his escape. Casap then resided with their decomposing bodies for approximately two weeks, demonstrating cold calculation. This parricide funded his autonomy from family oversight. Prosecutors later dropped charges like hiding corpses in exchange for his guilty plea. The act underscores the dangers of unchecked radicalization in suburban America.

Neo-Nazi Plot to Assassinate President Trump

Casap’s radicalization began in late 2024 through the Order of Nine Angles, a decentralized neo-Nazi network advocating accelerationism and violence for societal collapse. He drafted a manifesto hailing Hitler with phrases like “HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE” and demanded Trump’s death to spark a white supremacist revolution. Initial plans involved a drone or AK-47 attack, evolving to explosives purchased partly with stolen funds. Casap messaged Russian-speaking contacts and O9A affiliates about fleeing to Ukraine post-attack. FBI investigations revealed his indifference to collateral deaths in this domestic terror scheme.

Arrest, Investigation, and Swift Justice

On February 28, 2025, Kansas authorities arrested Casap during a traffic stop in Wyandotte County while he drove Mayer’s SUV. A welfare check, prompted by Mayer’s mother noticing Casap’s school absence, led to body discovery in early March 2025. Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department responded initially. FBI uncovered the manifesto, drone parts, explosives, and foreign ties. Casap pleaded guilty on January 8, 2026, to two first-degree intentional homicide counts in Waukesha County Circuit Court. Federal charges for conspiracy and weapons of mass destruction remain pursued from 2025.

Waukesha County District Attorney Boese described the plot’s evolution from rifle to bombs and Ukraine escape plans. The Circuit Court judge sentenced Casap to life without parole on March 6, 2026, citing his extreme danger and lack of rehabilitation potential. This outcome delivers closure to victims’ relatives and deters similar extremists. It highlights law enforcement’s vigilance protecting President Trump amid post-election tensions. The case exposes online radicalization risks, especially among youth, fueling calls for better monitoring of groups like O9A.
